Microsoft has several tests that will examine the Exchange services utilized by Nylas and determine if they are running properly. The two services used by Nylas that can be tested are Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) and Exchange Web Services (EWS)
Advanced settings are usually needed to be filled by the users when their exchange server doesn't have autodiscovery setup. In these cases, the user needs to find out the correct username/Exchange server settings from their email admin before running these tests.
For a successful authentication, we need at least one of these tests to pass, i.e all green checks on the resulting HTML file. If both these tests fail, the user would need to reach out to their email admin to fix their setup in order to pass at least one of these tests. Without a successful test result, user cannot authenticate their account.
