This guide will walk you through the steps to connect your Zoho Mail account using IMAP and an application-specific password. This setup ensures you can connect your Zoho Mail account without problems.

Enable IMAP Access in Zoho Mail:

Log in to your Zoho Mail account at Zoho Mail Login.

Click the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner.

Navigate to Mail Accounts under the Mail Settings section.

Under IMAP Access, ensure that the option is enabled. If it’s not, toggle it on.

Connect Your Email Address with the Nylas Connector

Open your Nylas connector.

Pick the IMAP account option, or write your IMAP email address.
- Click on Server Information.

Enter the server details, here you can find them:

When prompted for your credentials:

Username: Your full Zoho Mail email address (e.g., user@yourdomain.com).

Password: The application-specific password generated before. Check point 3.

- To enhance security, Zoho Mail requires an application-specific password to connect via IMAP.

Go to your Zoho account settings at Zoho Accounts.

Select Security from the left-hand menu.

Scroll down to the App Passwords section.

Click Generate New Password and provide a name for the application (e.g., “Email Client”).

Click Generate. A unique password will appear on the screen.

Copy the password. You will need this to set up the connection.
