When using the Nylas Dashboard, you might encounter the error:
"User cannot perform operation: APPLICATION_READ"
This issue arises because the logged-in account does not have sufficient permissions to access production application settings. Specifically, it occurs if your account is not an Admin account within the organization.
Steps to Resolve:
Verify Account Role:
Navigate to the Organization Settings in the Nylas Dashboard.
Check your role under the Members section. If your role is set as "Member" instead of "Admin," you will not have the required permissions.
Request Role Change:
Contact an Admin within your organization.
Ask them to update your role to Admin via the Members settings page.
