When making an API call I receive a 504 error

When an API call returns 504 with the following error response below, this means that the email provider's server is closing the connection before the email can be sent from the account.

Error Response:

"The server unexpectedly closed the connection"

Causes

• The email provider's server closed the connection before we could send the email. 

Resolution

• Retry the request.
• If the error persists, please have the end user reach out to their email administrator.
