Problem
Users encounter difficulties when attempting to connect GoDaddy or Zoho mailboxes to Nylas, despite entering the correct credentials. This issue often arises because users select their email provider from a pre-defined list during the authentication process.
Solution: Authentication via IMAP Protocol
To successfully connect GoDaddy or Zoho mailboxes to Nylas, it is recommended to use the IMAP protocol during authentication.
- Initiate the Authentication Process
- Select Provider Option: When prompted to choose an email provider, select the option "See all providers".
- Choose Custom IMAP Settings: From the list of options, choose "Custom IMAP settings". This will allow you to enter specific server settings required for your GoDaddy or Zoho mailbox.
