How to save a message as a EML file.

All emails have special information called Email Headers contained within them. When you forward or reply to an email, your new message overwrites those Headers.

Nylas Support may ask you for a message in the EML format. This file format preserves these special headers.  You can send this file like any attachment.

The exact instructions on how to save a message as a EML file depend on your email software.  Please find your software on this list and follow the instructions. If you don't see your email software on this list, please reach out to your email administrator and ask them for help on saving an email to a EML file so that it can get sent back to us.
