What happens if I change Google/Microsoft OAuth client ID and secret in the Nylas Dashboard?

The Google/Microsoft OAuth client ID and secret in the Nylas Dashboard ensure that any new account connected will follow the OAuth (token) flow during the authentication process.

Changing the Google/Microsoft client ID and secret does not affect any existing accounts as long as the old credentials remain valid.

The new credentials will only be used the next time an account (existing or not) authenticates and this will generate a new refresh token for the account that Nylas will store.
