No event created in the iCloud calendar for iCloud participants.

Symptoms:

• An event is created using Nylas API with an iCloud account as a participant, the participant (iCloud) receives email notifications, but the event is not created in the iCloud calendar.

Reason:

This is a new change made in the iCloud calendar since the macOS Monterey 12.6 update, any new meeting should go through Siri, and needs to be added manually to the calendar. iCloud has disabled adding meetings automatically from the mail to prevent SPAM, please see the following articles:
