How to connect Zoho mailbox with Nylas

Problem:

  • Users are experiencing issues or are unable to connect their Zoho mailbox with Nylas.

Solution:

  • Create an app password from the ZOHO UI - create an app-specific password for Zoho

  • Start the authentication process with Nylas

  • Select Custom IMAP settings as screenshot below



  • Use the app password and the correct server settings required for the email address to connect with 3rd party applications such as Nylas.

Note:  3rd step of using the IMAP protocol instead of ZOHO.
