Can we use Nylas tokens as a method of authenticating users on our application?

Instead of having customer login to the application and then again to integrate their email, is it possible to use the Nylas tokens to manage access to the application?

Most apps are designed in such a way that there is:

• One login / token for access to the developers application
• Another for email integrations such as Nylas

It is not possible to consolidate these, each token is owned by the respective vendor and responsible for its security.

We advise against using Nylas tokens to manage access to your application, Nylas tokens can be revoked by the provider at any given moment thus preventing access to your application.
