Unable to delete messages with titles such as IPM.Configuration.Autocomplete from inbox

Microsoft Outlook stores configurations within the mailstore as non email objects, this obsolete methodology was designed to allow Outlook standalone client to maintain settings across devices.

"IPM.Configuration.Autocomplete”
”IPM.Configuration.AccountPrefs”
”IPM.Configuration.MessageListSettings”

You can not delete these in the tradition manner of moving them to the Trash folder, these are in fact Draft items.

Resolution:

To delete these objects please use the DELETE draft endpoint and the message_id.

To get the message_id you can search the mailbox.
