In Scheduler I am unable see booking slots that start on the 30min, fraction of an hour?

Your booking slots do not start at the beginning of the day or always start on the hour.

The cause is our availability endpoint which tries to maximise the slots in a time period.

  • 8:30 open hours with 60min meeting, 30 interval & top of hour - 9:00, 10:00, 11:00

  • 8:30 open hours with 60min meeting, 60 interval & top of hour - 9:00, 10:00, 11:00

  • 8:30 open hours with 60min meeting, 90 interval & top of hour - 9:00, 11:00, 1:00

Use of interval_minutes allows the following:

  • 8:30 open hours with 60min meeting, 30 interval - 8:30, 9:00, 9:30

  • 8:30 open hours with 60min meeting, 60 interval - 8:30, 9:30, 10:30

  • 8:30 open hours with 60min meeting, 90 interval - 8:30, 10:00, 11:30

The solution is to use[booking][interval_minutes]: 30 or 15, when creating / editing the scheduler via the pages endpoint. This option is only currently only available via the API, not the Scheduler editor.

This is currently an undocumented workaround, we intend to address to provide customers with the option of selecting which option in Q1 2023.

Please do raise tickets with support so that we can prioritise these requests with engineering.

Implementation

Customers have implement this using the following methods:

  1. When a customer visits the scheduler editor (a URL you will need to track in the application) fetch all /manage/pages and add interval_minutes
  2. Periodically add interval_minutes via scheduled task
